18h30: Official Opening with Sauerkraut and Sausages
Come by to visit our fan installation in homage to Tabea and let’s have a drink, a chat and eat sauerkraut and sausages (veggie options will be available!) together.
20h: Opening words
Introduction to Sexy KV, the film Bildnis Einer Trinkerin and the life and work of Tabea Blumenschein.
20h30 : Film Screening of Bildnis Einer Trinkerin (Ulrike Ottinger, 1979)
An American passenger plane lands on the snowy tarmac of Berlin-Tegel. A voice-over reports matter-of-factly how an Italian countess has descended on the German capital with only one goal in mind: to drink until she drops. We follow the countess (Tabea Blumenschein) on her drinking adventures through a surreal Berlin, messing with the strange categories an even stranger society sometimes imposes upon us.
