Queer Faith & TheMany

«Born with the Faeries, raised with the flowers... »

"Born with the Faeries, raised with the flowers..."

"Queer Faith & TheMany - Radical Plurals are a troupe of Queers sharing a vessel.

Singers, Actors and Performers by training and profession under the name of AntojO at one time, they left a few years ago to cross borders by singing their stories. Their project speaks in many languages of naked emotions, erotic-galactic shells, gender lines, lone wolves, Dissociations, reappropriation of traumas and Siblinghood.

They have just released an EP entitled "RadicaLove a.part" available on all virtual platforms. This joyful troupe fights at the same time for a positive and non-stigmatizing visibilization of the QueerCrip communities (focusing in particular on what concerns the dissociative situations they themselves know) by creating the series "A sWORDs CLUB - A club of words and swords". They are fighting hard for an increased awareness of the points of contact between anti-violence struggles, anti-psyableist struggles, and other well-known feminist intersectional struggles.

LET'SSS... by 🎼 Queer Faith 🎶 & TheMany ✨
( Radical Faeries & Plurals )

What inspired you to get into arts and music?

Foolove & Faith: "We started doing theatre when our vessel was 7 years old
For a very long time we thought we were just very good channels, and it was only when we finally met the queer community that we branched out and realized our own voice (and path). The Drag came from our awareness of plurality and queerness, and from a benevolent environment we met just in the nick of time.

Avez-vous eu des modèles influents?

Did you have any influential role models?

Fiesta & Faith : Oh yeah ! There’s a lot of queer vessels, especially from the Radical Faerie community, who unlocked and inspired the change in our lives. And there’s a crowd of artists that we look up to, including some that you’ve already featured, such as Blanket La Goulue, King Baxter, Enby Valent or Alvilda, mais aussi des personnages rencontrés au cours de nos voyages initiatiques, comme Sal, Jodie Mitchell, Lauren Steele, John Travulva, Crystal Lubrikunt, Chraja ou Mystika Glamoor, et d’autres artistes belges remarquables comme Camille Pier, Nestor, Josie, Pierre Rococo, Chaymi Blu, Pepe Kasses, Drag Couenne, Dame Lylybeth, sans oublier Shlaggy Daddy, et tellement d’autres encore qui nous inspirent quand on pense à elleux.

What is your creative process and what are the most important things you keep in mind when beginning a new project? Are there any recurring themes/issues you like to address within your work?

Faith : Yes, we talk about radicality of emotions and feelings.
Radical Love, however queer it can get, Gender, Neurodiversity and empowerment are the main focuses of our work. Lately anger is finding its way too, we’re working on that one. Usually I (Faith) supervise the writing, and the number one rule, whatever we want or need to process or express through a new song, is to make it empowering, and uplifting. That allows for any kind of depths to be welcome while insuring that we don’t drown and the audience with us, hahaha

You describe yourselves as a 'Queer Trans Plural system', how would you define that?

Fiesta : We wouldn’t really take time here to define that. We’re Plurals, and if people do want to discover or get acquainted to what that means and how to be decent with other systems, we do a lot of work on that side as well, (see bio) and we have even created a page on facebook called « Dissociative Identity Skills – Resources about Multiplicity and more », feel free to go visit ;-)

What advice would you give to artists starting out or to those artists who are struggling with creative blocks?

Faith : Do not believe that you have given up when you do, because you might not have, really, and the sooner you get back to it the more likely it’ll be joyful again soon.
Also, your rhythm is THE rhythm. It’s never too slow or too quick, however much quicker or slower you might want to go, consider dancing with the rhythm that comes, through creation.
Phooka : We spend MONTHS without writing a line, and suddenly, poof, 2 songs in a day.
Faith : We believe it has its own rhythm, from experience to digestion to transformation and sprouts. It lives and you are serving it. Control can be a fierce enemy.

 Itsik & Pickles : Live .

Any other interesting facts/information we should know about you?

Fiesta : We miss acting, and we’d looove to work for queer filmed projects.
We’re several good actors in one body, for Queer’s sake, let’s collaborate on films to visibilise what’s hidden by the norms, and use our voices to get heard and seen in our diversity ! ☺ ☺ ☺

Foolove : We could use some professional help to get our first album together, record and mix.

Fiesta : We are looking for a team of womenX and fems  to shoot our next music video on the themes of transfem and plural identities.

We are open to applications from sugar parents, also (to pay for all the above..).
Prioritarily people with privilege who are aware of it and willing to make things right at all costs ;-)
