Olmedam
Miguel Peñaranda Olmeda, olmedam , is a visual artist and designer for performance, theatre and dance.
He holds a degree and a master's diploma in Visual Arts and Costume Design awarded by the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp (Belgium).
He currently lives in Brussels and splits his work between Spain and Belgium.
His fascination for topics such as permanence, transcendence and the virtual in its relationship to the physical and the human body led him to create D.C.B.C.D.[data.carrying.bodies.carrying.data], a performative installation presented in June 2019.
This was followed by the dissertation “Corpus Delicti: The Representation of the Body in the Postdigital Era”.
